Fairmont Gold Reception Agent – Luxury Front Desk

About the role

Join Fairmont Hotels & Resorts in Cairo as a Fairmont Gold Reception Agent. You will be the first point of contact for our luxury guests, delivering warm, professional service while managing all front‑desk operations.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests on arrival and departure with genuine warmth and professionalism.
• Handle check‑ins, check‑outs and room assignments accurately and efficiently.
• Provide detailed information on hotel facilities, services and local attractions.
• Process guest requests, resolve concerns promptly, and escalate complex issues when needed.
• Maintain and update guest records in the hotel management system.
• Manage Fairmont Gold loyalty program inquiries and deliver personalized service.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance and other departments to ensure seamless service.
• Answer telephone inquiries and direct calls while maintaining professional communication standards.
• Process payments and manage cash transactions securely.
• Keep the front‑desk area clean, organized and presentable.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling, filing and documentation.
• Respond to guest feedback and contribute to continuous service improvement.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of customer‑service experience in hospitality or luxury service.
• Proven front‑desk or reception experience in a hotel environment.
• Fluency in Arabic and English; additional languages (French, German, Spanish) are a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational, time‑management and multitasking abilities.
• Professional appearance, strong interpersonal skills and a problem‑solving mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hotel management systems (PMS) and property‑management software.
