Fashion Designer

About the role

A global premium fashion house is looking for a creative and detail‑oriented Fashion Designer to help develop ready‑to‑wear collections from concept through production. You will translate brand direction into thoughtfully designed garments while collaborating closely with product, design, and production teams.

Key responsibilities

• Generate design ideas, sketches, technical drawings and complete tech packs aligned with the brand vision.
• Research trends, fabrics, trims and market developments to inform collection strategy.
• Select appropriate materials and construction details that meet design, commercial and cost targets.
• Work with pattern makers, sample makers, suppliers and production teams to ensure accurate execution and high‑quality samples.
• Review fittings, provide feedback and adjust designs while preserving the original intent.
• Support accessory and future product category development as needed.
• Maintain comprehensive design documentation and product development records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in ready‑to‑wear design and garment development.
• Strong understanding of garment construction, fabrics, fit and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to balance creativity with commercial awareness and brand consistency.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop.
• Experience creating professional tech packs.
