F&B Cashier

About the role

The Food & Beverage Cashier will manage all cash transactions and banking activities for a busy hotel outlet, ensuring compliance with accounting policies and delivering a welcoming experience to guests. This full‑time position is based at the hotel on Corniche El Nil in Cairo.

Key responsibilities

• Process all payment methods in line with accounting procedures and cash‑handling standards.
• Perform blind drops, count the bank at shift end, complete cashier reports and resolve discrepancies.
• Transport and secure the bank, set up the workstation with required supplies, and maintain its cleanliness.
• Execute opening duties, including preparing cash float and ensuring all tools are operational.
• Adhere to company safety, security, uniform and appearance policies.
• Greet guests professionally, respond to service needs, and handle telephone inquiries with proper etiquette.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior related work experience required.
• No supervisory experience or specific certifications needed.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Point of Sale (POS) systems.
• Basic computer operation skills.
• Accurate cash handling and banking procedures.
