FF&E Specialist Interior Designer

About the role

White House Furniture is looking for a visionary FF&E Specialist Interior Designer to shape the tactile and visual elements of our projects. You will work on full‑time, hybrid assignments, merging interior design creativity with engineering precision to deliver beautiful, functional environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead research, selection and specification of FF&E items including furniture, lighting, finishes and accessories.
• Develop detailed FF&E schedules, specifications and budgets.
• Collaborate with design teams, architects and clients to align selections with project goals and brand identity.
• Manage vendor relationships, negotiate pricing and oversee procurement processes.
• Prepare presentations and material boards to communicate design concepts.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations and project timelines.
• Conduct site visits and quality‑control checks to verify proper installation.

Required profile

• 3‑7 years of progressive experience in FF&E specification and interior design with a strong portfolio.
• Proven project‑management skills, including budgeting, timeline adherence and client communication.
• Deep expertise in interior design principles, lighting design, furniture design, interior finishing and accessories selection.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and SketchUp for technical drawing and visualization.
• Experience in vendor management and procurement processes.
• Advanced space‑planning and technical‑drawing abilities.
• Degree in Interior Design, Architecture or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
