Field Engineer – Graduate Program

About the role

Launch your engineering career as a Field Engineer with Weatherford’s NextGen Graduate Program in Egypt. You will work on‑site at oil and gas rigs, gaining hands‑on experience with cutting‑edge downhole technologies and real‑world problem solving from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, deploy and operate advanced downhole tools to meet wellsite objectives.
• Use simulation software to design and optimise wellsite solutions for clients.
• Analyse performance data, recommend improvements and produce detailed post‑job reports.
• Manage equipment logistics, ensuring seamless setup and operation at rig sites.
• Provide front‑line engineering support, resolve issues independently and champion safety and quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any engineering discipline obtained within the last 24 months.
• Maximum of one year of professional experience.
• Fluent English (written and spoken) with strong communication skills.
• Analytical mindset, critical thinking and ability to make informed decisions.
• Passion for hands‑on work in dynamic on‑shore or off‑shore environments.
