Field Sales Representative – Fabric & Yarn (Cairo)

About the role

The company is looking for a proactive Field Sales Representative to promote its fabric and cotton‑yarn portfolio across Egypt. The role combines client acquisition, market intelligence and supply‑chain mapping while supporting the China head office.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively visit and develop global textile and garment clients with production facilities in Egypt, including fabric mills, garment factories, home‑textile factories and trading companies.
• Promote the company’s fabric and cotton‑yarn products, match offerings to client production categories and negotiate orders.
• Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation, sample delivery and quotation through negotiation, shipment and payment collection.
• Maintain existing client relationships, provide after‑sales support and identify repeat‑purchase and incremental opportunities.
• Collect and report Egyptian textile market intelligence, including client capacities, procurement needs, competitor pricing and industry trends.
• Map the local textile supply chain, build a database of key enterprises and regularly update it for the China head office.
• Develop sourcing channels for cotton waste, verify quality and coordinate logistics for export to China.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Business, Marketing, International Trade or Textile Engineering.
• Native Arabic speaker with fluent business English; Chinese language skills are a plus.
• Fresh graduates are welcome; sales experience in fabric or yarn industry and existing client networks are advantageous.
• Strong field‑sales, negotiation and client‑management abilities; self‑motivated and able to work under pressure.
• Valid driving licence, preferably with personal transportation, and willingness to travel locally for client visits.
• Ability to cooperate with the China head office via video‑conferences and accept remote management.
