Finance Controller

About the role

The Finance Controller will lead commercial finance operations for Abbott's Egypt affiliate, acting as a strategic partner to the business. This role ensures accurate financial planning, reporting, and decision support while complying with local legislation and corporate policies.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee month‑end closing, financial reporting, and cost‑optimization projects.
• Provide forward‑looking financial decision support and governance for commercial activities.
• Approve pricing, discounts, credit assessments, and other operational financial decisions.
• Manage the Egypt P&L, driving revenue performance, gross‑margin optimization, and expense control.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and forecast accuracy, driving efficiency initiatives.

Required profile

• University degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of finance experience.
• Strong track record in cost optimization, financial governance, and business partnering.
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
• Proven ability to interact with senior management and commercial teams.
