Finance Lead

About the role

The Finance Lead will manage the day‑to‑day financial operations of the company, reporting directly to the Financial Manager. This position ensures accurate financial reporting, supervises the accounting team, and monitors the performance of the Warehouse and Procurement functions.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation and review of monthly and periodic financial statements, including income statement, balance sheet and cash flow.
• Manage the month‑end closing process to guarantee timely and accurate completion.
• Directly supervise the accounting team, assign tasks, review journal entries and reconciliations, and develop team capabilities.
• Analyze warehouse inventory reports, ensure proper valuation, investigate variances and assess impact on cost of goods sold.
• Review procurement data, monitor purchase prices and supplier performance, and recommend cost‑optimization measures.
• Monitor operating expenses, enforce internal control policies and flag financial or operational risks to the Financial Manager.

Required profile

• Proven experience in accounting or finance management, preferably within a multi‑department environment.
• Strong analytical abilities with a track record of identifying risks and variances.
• Leadership experience supervising an accounting team.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate between finance, warehouse and procurement.
