Financial Account Manager

About the role

Usmazeed is seeking a Financial Account Manager to lead the financial delivery for a portfolio of SME clients across the GCC. The role combines client advisory, end‑to‑end accounting service delivery, and business development to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary financial advisor for assigned clients, overseeing onboarding, system setup, and service kickoff.
• Manage daily accounting activities including journal entries, reconciliations, AP/AR, and ensure compliance with UAE and KSA regulations.
• Lead month‑end and quarter‑end closings, prepare draft financials, and deliver final reports (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow).
• Present and explain financial reports to clients, respond to queries, and maintain strong relationships.
• Collaborate with internal accountants and tax team to guarantee data accuracy and seamless tax integration.
• Prepare billing, verify invoice accuracy, and follow up on collections.
• Identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities based on client needs.
• Mentor junior accountants, review their work, and drive process improvements.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering accounting and financial reporting services to SMEs.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and local statutory requirements in the UAE and KSA.
• Excellent client‑facing skills with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
• Ability to manage multiple client calendars and align with regional holidays.
