Financial Controller – Real Estate Shared Services

About the role

The Financial Controller will lead financial governance, compliance and reporting for the Real Estate operations of Cairo Festival City. Reporting to senior finance leadership, you will ensure the integrity of financial data, manage internal controls and support strategic decision‑making across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Define, own and approve accounting policies in line with IFRS, Al‑Futtaim standards and real‑estate requirements.
• Act as the primary reference for complex accounting judgments and new standard implementations.
• Maintain and enforce the Al‑Futtaim internal control framework across all entities.
• Drive continuous improvement of controls through process redesign, automation and system enhancements.
• Oversee SAP‑interfaced finance systems to ensure data integrity and robust controls.
• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual financial close, consolidation and reporting, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
• Manage intercompany accounting, reconciliation and settlement processes.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in finance and accounting within real‑estate or similar asset‑intensive industries.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and corporate accounting standards.
• Proven ability to design and enforce internal control frameworks.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing finance teams and cross‑functional stakeholders.
