Financial Controller – Remote (Contract)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead our accounting operations and financial reporting on a fully remote basis. Reporting to the CFO, you will drive the transition from outsourced accounting to an in‑house finance function while ensuring accurate, timely financial information for executive leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Take full ownership of the General Ledger, maintaining accuracy, integrity, and compliance.
• Maintain and manage the Chart of Accounts.
• Lead the migration from outsourced to internal accounting processes.
• Oversee monthly close activities, reconciliations, and financial accuracy.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
• Review profit & loss performance across business units.
• Supervise Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, invoice processing, payroll, and expense reporting.
• Monitor cash flow, perform bank reconciliations, and coordinate tax reporting.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial controls while safeguarding confidential information.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Financial Controller or Senior Accountant with full GL ownership.
• Strong background in month‑end close and financial reporting.
• Hands‑on experience managing accounting teams.
• High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential financial data.
