Financial Crime Analyst – Graduate Program (German Speaker)

About the role
Join PwC's ETIC team in Cairo as a Financial Crime Analyst in a graduate program designed for fresh graduates. You will focus on transaction monitoring and name screening to help clients detect and prevent financial crime, while using your German language skills to support international customers.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct basic due‑diligence and background checks on potential customers.
- Respond to KYC document requests and perform reviews for low, medium, and high‑risk clients.
- Meet daily and monthly productivity and quality targets, updating metric trackers accurately.
- Collaborate with team leads and managers to improve client and PwC processes.
- Adapt quickly to new or changing procedures and build relationships with internal and client teams.
- Work a Monday‑to‑Friday schedule with occasional weekend rotation and public‑holiday availability during busy periods.
Required profile
- A university degree with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Fluent German speaking and writing (minimum B1 level).
- High attention to detail and an inquisitive mindset.
- Basic knowledge of regulatory developments affecting the financial services sector.
Required skills
- Knowledge of KYC and transaction monitoring concepts.
- Ability to follow strict processes and handle escalations of suspicious activity.
