Fleet Supervisor & Transportation Planner

About the role
The Fleet Supervisor & Transportation Planner is responsible for planning, coordinating and supervising transportation and fleet operations to ensure safe, efficient and cost‑effective distribution of finished goods while maintaining high service levels.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute transportation plans that meet customer service requirements while optimizing costs and fleet utilization.
- Supervise daily fleet operations, driver schedules, shift planning and vacation rotations, ensuring vehicle availability and preventive maintenance.
- Monitor fleet movements using tracking systems, maintain real‑time status logs and respond promptly to disruptions such as breakdowns or traffic delays.
- Coordinate driver recruitment, onboarding, performance monitoring and compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Track fuel consumption and fuel‑card usage, analyse performance data and recommend initiatives to reduce transportation costs.
