Fleet Supervisor & Transportation Planner

About the role

The Fleet Supervisor & Transportation Planner will oversee fleet operations and the movement of finished goods and empties for Al Ahram Beverages Company. The role ensures cost‑effective transport, vehicle availability, safety compliance and alignment with company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily fleet activities, enforce safety standards and company policies.
• Manage truck maintenance schedules, fuel consumption, and create purchase requisitions for fuel and services.
• Plan and route orders using Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) and coordinate with warehouse staff for accurate dispatch.
• Track driver licences, vehicle readiness, and assign delivery tasks to optimise workload.
• Analyse breakdown trends, implement preventive maintenance (RCFA) and optimise routes to reduce fuel usage.
• Maintain fleet expense records in SAP, Maximo and Zycus; produce KPI dashboards and violation reports.
• Supervise, train and monitor attendance of drivers and helpers, handling appraisals and performance tracking.
• Ensure compliance with NAFSA safety protocols, conduct road risk assessments and manage emergency response drills.

Required profile

• University degree with 3‑5 years of experience in fleet operations, logistics or transportation management.
• Proven ability to supervise drivers, manage vehicle maintenance and improve fleet performance.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills; fluent in Arabic and English.
