FM Engineer

About the role

The FM Engineer will oversee the planning, execution and control of facilities management projects, ensuring compliance with company policies, safety standards and client requirements. This role coordinates procurement, budgeting, scheduling and quality control to deliver successful construction or maintenance activities.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and assign work according to company policies and authority limits.
• Control project‑related expenses and ensure budgets are met.
• Manage procurement activities for contracts and sub‑contracts.
• Conduct team briefings and inception meetings to align all parties.
• Implement and enforce safety standards and procedures.
• Coordinate QC reporting with internal departments and clients to meet schedules.
• Schedule manpower and material movements for construction/maintenance tasks.
• Liaise with contractors and clients, handling work interfaces and scope changes.
• Prepare and submit PPM technical submittals and shop drawings.
• Assist the project manager and MEP in drafting subcontract agreements and recruiting discipline‑specific staff.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of overall experience, with 1–3 years in a similar FM engineering role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Proven ability to plan, coordinate, control and supervise technical projects.
