Food & Beverage Coordinator

About the role

The Food & Beverage Coordinator supports the daily administrative and operational functions of the F&B department at a luxury resort. This role ensures smooth communication, coordination of events, accurate documentation, and efficient service across restaurants, bars, room service, and banquet operations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily F&B operations across restaurants, bars, room service, and banquet functions.
• Assist in scheduling staff and monitoring staffing levels.
• Distribute and communicate event orders (BEOs) to relevant departments.
• Monitor service standards and ensure compliance with hotel policies.
• Maintain department records, reports, and documentation.
• Prepare weekly/monthly performance reports (sales, labor costs, food cost).
• Assist with inventory tracking, purchasing coordination, and monthly inventory counts.
• Update menus, pricing, and POS systems as required.
• Coordinate with Sales and Events teams for banquet functions and group bookings.
• Attend pre‑function meetings and assist with event logistics.
• Follow up on event feedback and guest satisfaction.
• Track supplier orders, invoices, and ensure proper billing for events and outlets.
• Address guest inquiries and special requests professionally.
• Support training and onboarding of F&B team members.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in Food & Beverage operations, preferably in a hotel environment.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
• Customer‑service orientation and financial awareness.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with kitchen, service, purchasing, sales, and management teams.
