Food Storeman

About the role

The Food Storeman will be responsible for receiving, storing and issuing all food supplies for the Sukari mining operation near Marsa Alam. Working within the Administration Department, you will ensure that all items are handled safely, kept in optimal conditions and delivered to kitchen teams in strict accordance with hygiene and FIFO principles.

Key responsibilities

• Accept and unload incoming food shipments, verifying quantities and condition.
• Store items securely, applying FIFO methodology to minimise waste.
• Issue raw kitchen food items daily to catering staff based on demand.
• Monitor and record temperature, humidity and expiry dates of all stored goods.
• Maintain a clean, organised warehouse that meets internal and external audit standards.
• Prepare regular inventory reports and daily workflow summaries.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma from a commercial secondary school or related field.
• Minimum 2 years experience in food storage, FMCG or large‑scale hospitality warehousing.
• Preferable certification in food safety or HACCP.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office for inventory tracking.
• Knowledge of HACCP principles and food‑safety regulations.
