Freight Forwarding & Logistics Coordinator

About the role

Royal Med, a leading freight forwarding and integrated logistics firm in Egypt, is looking for a full‑time Freight Forwarding and Logistics Coordinator to join its Cairo office. You will manage end‑to‑end export operations, ensuring shipments move smoothly, on time, and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and file all required shipping documentation for export shipments.
• Coordinate bookings with shipping lines and arrange freight transportation across sea, air, and road modes.
• Track and trace cargo, monitor shipment status, and proactively resolve any delays or issues with carriers and partners.
• Communicate daily with customers, shipping lines, customs brokers, and internal teams to provide accurate updates.
• Support rate quotations, maintain records in logistics/ERP systems, and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of freight forwarding operations, routing, and documentation.
• Experience with export processes, customs compliance, and coordination with regulatory bodies.
• Customer‑service orientation with the ability to handle inquiries and issues professionally.
• Understanding of sea, air, and road transportation modes and their cost and transit implications.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Experience using logistics or ERP systems.
