French Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a native French‑speaking teacher to join the SABIS network and deliver the SABIS curriculum to our students. The role involves planning and delivering lessons, assessing student performance, and contributing to a supportive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver French language instruction using provided lesson plans or develop plans based on pacing charts.
• Mark exams and assignments in line with departmental schedules.
• Collaborate with the Academic Quality Controller and Head of Department on disciplinary and performance matters.
• Implement the SABIS point system to maintain a conducive classroom atmosphere.
• Invigilate examinations and support low‑performing students to improve outcomes.
• Assist with external exam preparation, past‑paper revision, and other academic activities.
• Perform additional duties such as supervising lunch, bus arrangements, traffic control, and administrative tasks as assigned.
• Participate in student‑life events and attend training sessions to deepen understanding of the SABIS system.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent qualification.
• Native proficiency in French.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
