French Translator (Medical)

About the role

iMoveGym is seeking a fluent French translator to join its medical team in 6th of October City. The role is full‑time and on‑site, focusing on accurate translation and interpretation of medical and administrative content for French‑speaking patients and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Translate medical and administrative documents between French and other working languages, ensuring precision and consistent terminology.
• Interpret during patient consultations, meetings, and phone calls to facilitate clear communication.
• Review, revise, and proofread translated materials for quality and compliance.
• Maintain and update terminology databases, especially for healthcare terminology.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to clarify context and meaning.
• Support staff with language‑related queries and help develop multilingual communication guidelines.

Required profile

• Strong French translation abilities and general translation competence.
• Excellent communication skills for conveying complex medical information.
• Experience interpreting in professional, preferably healthcare, settings.
• Fluency in French and at least one additional language (English or Arabic).
• Basic knowledge of medical concepts and documentation formats.
• High attention to detail, strong organization, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, Languages, or equivalent professional experience.
