Front Office Shift Leader

About the role

The Front Office Shift Leader is responsible for overseeing the front desk operations during their shift at our Al Pasha Coast property in Sharm El Sheikh. You will ensure smooth guest check‑ins, accurate billing, and high‑quality service while supporting and coaching the front office team.

Key responsibilities

• Process all guest check‑ins, verify identity, payment method, assign rooms and issue keys.
• Enter Marriott Rewards information, ensure rates match market codes and document exceptions.
• Secure payment, adjust billing as needed, and handle all payment types, vouchers and paid‑outs.
• Compile daily reports, cashier and closing reports, and manage bank drops at the start and end of the shift.
• Assist guests with directions, property information and special requests, coordinating with other departments when required.
• Notify Loss Prevention/Security of any theft reports and follow accounting procedures for manual authorizations.
• Support management in training, evaluating, counseling and motivating front office staff.
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance, adhere to safety policies and protect confidential information.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related front office experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• No specific license or certification required.

Required skills

• Proficiency with POS and computer systems used for front desk operations.
