FS Support Engineer

About the role

Vodafone is looking for an FS Support Engineer to join its global infrastructure team. You will work closely with engineering, product and operations groups to build a Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) culture, ensuring that development, staging and production environments are reliable, secure and scalable.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering teams to design, deploy and operate services across the full lifecycle.
• Maintain and improve API‑gateways, web servers, caching layers, database configurations and CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate infrastructure tasks, monitor system health and optimise performance.
• Manage Docker containers, orchestration platforms and backend infrastructure.
• Participate in on‑call rotations, incident resolution and post‑incident reviews.
• Document processes, build knowledge‑base articles and create monitoring tools.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with experience in high‑availability environments.
• Ability to work under pressure in a 24 × 7 operational setting.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with software engineers, product owners and systems engineers.
