FTTH Acceptance Engineer

About the role
Afro Egypt is seeking a qualified FTTH Acceptance Engineer to join its Alexandria team. The role focuses on preparing, reviewing, and delivering acceptance documentation for fiber-to-the-home projects, ensuring compliance with client and regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare As‑Built drawings (CAD files) for FTTH projects.
- Create and maintain Cross‑Connection tables in Excel.
- Generate Bulk Loader tables in Excel.
- Update as‑built documents based on site feedback.
- Communicate design updates and changes with customers.
- Verify that all acceptance documents meet project requirements and standards.
- Submit As‑Built drawings, Cross‑Connection tables, and Bulk Loader tables for approval by Telecom Egypt or Huawei Design Leader, when applicable.
Required profile
- Previous experience in FTTH projects, specifically in acceptance or as‑built documentation.
- Good knowledge of telecom design principles and documentation standards.
- Strong communication skills for interaction with stakeholders.
Required skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
