FullStack Developer, Associate

About the role

PwC is opening a new Technology & Innovation Center in Cairo that delivers technology solutions to consulting clients worldwide, covering packaged applications such as SAP and Oracle, cloud services on AWS, Azure and Google, and managed services. The centre is expanding quickly and is looking for enthusiastic self-starters with a passion for technology and client delivery. This Associate FullStack Developer role sits within the Advisory line of service.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build frontend pages using React
• Design and build RESTful API endpoints using Node.js
• Design and build storage solutions with relational (MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and non-relational (DynamoDB, MongoDB) databases
• Implement Figma designs supplied by the UI/UX team
• Analyze and fix frontend and backend software bugs
• Write automated unit tests and maintain good test coverage
• Push code to Git and take part in code reviews
• Take part in Agile Scrum ceremonies (daily standup, sprint planning, review and retrospective)
• Create and maintain technical documentation

Required profile

• Good knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML and CSS, including frameworks such as Tailwind and Bootstrap
• Frontend development in React, including state management with Redux
• Backend development in Node.js (Express, Nest.js) and REST API development
• Relational and non-relational databases and ORM tools (TypeORM, Prisma, Sequelize)
• Authentication flows and JWT tokens
• Strong drive for clean code, automation, design improvements and code quality through unit testing
• Experience in other frameworks (C#, Python, Angular, Vue, GraphQL, Docker, CI/CD tools) is a plus
