Fullstack Engineer (Ruby on Rails)

Join sonnen’s mission to accelerate the clean‑energy transition by building intelligent, all‑in‑one energy systems. As a Fullstack Engineer you will work on both backend services and modern front‑end interfaces, contributing to a product that empowers households to become energy independent.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle: design, code, review, test, deploy and monitor.
• Maintain and extend Ruby on Rails services and implement user‑friendly front‑ends using Hotwire.
• Develop and evolve GraphQL APIs and RESTful JSON:API endpoints.
• Write automated tests with RSpec and convert acceptance criteria into test cases.
• Document features, support CI/CD pipelines (GitLab/GitHub) and manage deployments on AWS.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional Agile teams, troubleshoot production issues and contribute to micro‑service architecture.

Required profile

• 2+ years of full‑stack development experience with Ruby on Rails, RSpec and GraphQL.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab or GitHub), AWS infrastructure and monitoring (Datadog).
• Comfortable working in an Agile/Scrum environment and following architectural best practices.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
