About the role
We are looking for a full-time, on-site Furniture Designer based in Heliopolis. The role involves creating innovative furniture pieces that balance function, aesthetics and ergonomics while aligning with our brand values.
Key responsibilities
- Conceptualize and develop new furniture designs from idea to prototype.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure manufacturability.
- Create detailed technical drawings and specifications.
- Select appropriate materials and oversee prototype refinement.
- Stay informed on design trends and incorporate sustainable practices.
Required profile
- Proficiency in furniture design, carpentry and craftsmanship.
- Background in interior or product design.
- Strong creativity with a focus on contemporary, functional solutions.
- Attention to detail in technical drawing and prototype development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Furniture Design, Product Design or related field (preferred).
Required skills
- AutoCAD
- SketchUp (or similar 3D design tools)
