Furniture Designer

About the role

Joy & Learn is looking for a creative Furniture Designer to shape functional, durable, and aesthetically pleasing furniture for schools and kindergartens. You will be part of a full‑cycle design process, turning concepts into real products that meet the specific needs of educational environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design process from initial sketches to finished, production‑ready pieces.
• Research and develop innovative solutions that address spatial challenges in schools and kindergartens.
• Collaborate closely with production and carpentry teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and meet quality standards.
• Select materials that balance durability, safety, and modern aesthetics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Furniture Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• Proven experience in furniture or product design with an eye for interior harmony.
• Understanding of carpentry and manufacturing processes.
• Experience designing educational or institutional furniture is a strong advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in CAD or similar design software.
