General Accountant

About the role

Roza Carpet is seeking a General Accountant to join its finance team in Alexandria. The role involves managing day‑to‑day accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting inventory and cash management processes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage customer and supplier accounts.
• Review and reconcile daily, weekly, and monthly financial transactions.
• Record and post branch sales transactions.
• Review invoices, credit notes, and POS transactions.
• Monitor inventory movements and prepare inventory reconciliations.
• Review cash closing reports and related financial records.
• Participate in periodic stock counts and inventory adjustments.
• Maintain accurate financial documentation and records.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting.
• Good understanding of taxation and financial regulations.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
