General Accountant – Remote Full‑Time

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented General Accountant to join our Finance Department on a full‑time remote basis. The role supports the growing accounting workload, maintains accurate financial records and works closely with the Accounting Manager to ensure timely reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries.
• Process accounts payable transactions and vendor payments.
• Perform bank and vendor reconciliations.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end close activities.
• Support management reporting and financial analysis.
• Maintain accurate accounting documentation and ensure compliance with internal controls.
• Utilise the company’s ERP/accounting system to process transactions and generate reports.
• Identify and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 2–4 years of experience in general accounting.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable and general accounting principles.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP and accounting software.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
