General Cashier – Hospitality Finance

About the role

The General Cashier will manage daily cash operations for Tropitel Group’s hospitality properties in Cairo. This full‑time, on‑site position ensures accurate cash collection, reconciliation and bank deposits while supporting finance and front‑office teams.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, count and reconcile cash from all revenue centres daily.
• Prepare cash summaries and accurate bank deposits.
• Maintain cash controls and record transactions according to company policies.
• Support month‑end and daily financial procedures.
• Respond to cash‑related inquiries from finance, front office and other departments.
• Ensure compliance with internal control and audit requirements.

Required profile

• Strong cash handling and reconciliation experience, including managing cash floats.
• Proficiency in basic accounting and financial processes such as ledger entries and revenue reporting.
• Good computer literacy with experience using Excel and hospitality point‑of‑sale systems.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• High integrity, reliability and attention to detail when handling cash and confidential information.
• Previous experience in a cashier, accounts or finance support role in hospitality or a similar service industry is an advantage.
• Relevant education in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field preferred.
• Ability to work on‑site in Cairo with flexibility during peak periods.
