General Manager – Country Operations

About the role

The General Manager – Country Operations is accountable for all manufacturing and delivery activities within the country. This senior leader owns the full Order‑to‑Cash execution spine, drives plant performance, and ensures compliance with health, safety, environment and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end Order‑to‑Cash delivery, converting confirmed orders into on‑time, on‑cost, on‑quality shipments and revenue.
• Oversee multi‑site plant operations, managing production output, OEE, conversion cost and resource utilisation.
• Own the country‑level S&OP process, aligning capacity planning, scheduling and shop‑floor sequencing with global standards.
• Direct in‑country supply‑chain activities, including procurement, inbound logistics and warehousing.
• Develop and steward site CAPEX plans, ensuring alignment with engineering and manufacturing guidelines.
• Drive continuous‑improvement programmes, embedding 5S, standard work and problem‑solving in daily management.
• Maintain full P&L responsibility, controlling manufacturing cost, SG&A and working‑capital efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in manufacturing or industrial operations.
• Demonstrated P&L ownership and accountability for multi‑site performance.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety, quality and environmental standards.
• Ability to interface with commercial teams and customers post‑order.
• Excellent analytical and decision‑making skills in a fast‑paced environment.
