Group Financial Controller

About the role

The Group Financial Controller will lead and govern all financial reporting, accounting operations, consolidation, budgeting, and financial performance management across multiple countries and business units. This senior position reports directly to the Group CFO and ensures the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of the group’s financial information.

Key responsibilities

• Own the preparation and timely delivery of monthly, quarterly and annual group financial statements in line with IFRS.
• Standardise accounting policies and manage the group chart of accounts across all entities.
• Lead multi‑company, multi‑country consolidations, eliminate intercompany transactions and reconcile balances.
• Oversee month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close processes, define the close calendar and monitor performance.
• Govern the annual budgeting cycle, rolling forecasts and validate assumptions.
• Establish and maintain robust internal controls, segregation of duties and audit readiness.
• Coordinate external and internal audits, manage findings and corrective actions.
• Analyse profitability, margins, cost structures, working capital and operational performance.
• Own the financial architecture within Odoo, approve accounting configurations and govern master data.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (mandatory); MBA, Master’s in Accounting or related field (preferred).
• Professional certification – at least one of CPA, ACCA, CMA, ACA.
• 12‑15+ years of finance experience, including 5+ years in a group‑level role.
• Proven multi‑country, multi‑company consolidation experience.
• Experience with ERP implementation and financial reporting systems.

Required skills

• Odoo ERP (financial architecture and configuration).
• IFRS accounting standards.
