Handover Director

About the role

The Handover Director is responsible for managing the relationship between CED and the City Authority, overseeing the handover of residential and commercial units for national and company projects. The role ensures that all units and snag lists are completed according to the master plan, quality standards, and yearly schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Define department strategy, objectives and plans.
• Manage customer interactions and coordinate internal departments to resolve issues and escalations.
• Monitor and agree with authorities on project start‑up and completion timelines.
• Coordinate planning of livable zone phases between CED and the City Authority.
• Oversee pre‑handover inspections and the overall handover process for released units.
• Maintain communication with city authorities to facilitate and improve handover procedures.
• Create and maintain a standard handover checklist and departmental processes.
• Ensure compliance with customer, statutory, regulatory and internal requirements throughout handover.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture Engineering.
• More than 20 years of experience in delivery and handover of residential or commercial projects.
• Proven ability to manage large‑scale construction handover operations.
