Head of Finance – Egypt

About the role

The Head of Finance will lead the finance function for the Egypt office, acting as the local finance leader and strategic business partner. This role ensures robust financial planning, reporting, analysis, compliance, budgeting, and governance to support both daily operations and long-term strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the overall finance function in Egypt, ensuring control, accuracy, compliance and efficiency.
• Provide financial advice to Egypt management, delivering insights, recommendations and analysis.
• Identify financial, operational and business issues proactively and develop effective solutions.
• Integrate finance with business activities to add value for the local team.
• Coach, supervise and develop the Finance team, setting clear objectives and performance reviews.
• Deliver in‑depth financial support for revenue, expense, profitability analysis, budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning.
• Oversee profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow and key performance indicators.
• Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports in line with local and corporate requirements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting, tax, reporting and internal control standards.
• Partner with Regional Finance Directors in Doha for reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Manage settlement processes, reconciliations, documentation and controls.
• Support internal and external audits with required documentation and explanations.
• Ensure proper implementation and use of ERP systems and financial tools.

Required profile

• Proven leadership and people‑management experience within a finance function.
• Strong analytical mindset to identify risks and develop innovative solutions.
• Ability to act as a trusted financial advisor to senior management.
