Head of Finance

About the role

As a senior member of Savills Egypt’s regional leadership team, the Head of Finance reports to the Finance Director – Middle East and the Head of Savills Egypt. The role oversees all corporate finance activities in Egypt, ensuring robust financial controls, compliance, and strategic support for the business.

Key responsibilities

• Lead accounting and financial management functions, maintaining strong internal controls and compliance with Egyptian regulations.
• Develop and manage financial plans, budgets, and forecasts aligned with senior management’s strategic direction.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support commercial decisions and long‑term planning.
• Oversee monthly, half‑yearly and annual financial reporting, ensuring adherence to Group timelines and standards.
• Manage cash flow, treasury activities and liquidity to safeguard the company’s financial health.
• Coordinate tax filings, ensure compliance with local tax laws and support audit processes.
• Drive continuous improvement and automation of finance systems for efficiency and scalability.
• Partner with HR on payroll and remuneration committee processes.
• Support new business ventures, ensuring legal, tax and financial compliance.
• Liaise with Group Legal and Risk teams on agreements and risk registers.
• Contribute to ESG initiatives and align finance practices with sustainability goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA, CA or equivalent (mandatory).
• Minimum 10 years of corporate finance experience, with at least 5 years in a senior finance leadership role within a multinational organisation.
• Experience in professional services or the real estate sector is preferred.
• Fluency in Arabic and English.
