Head of Policies and Procedures

About the role

The Bank is seeking a senior leader to own and drive its policies and procedures framework. The Head will ensure all operating documents are controlled, up‑to‑date, accessible and fully compliant with regulatory and internal standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the bank’s policies, procedures and documentation governance framework.
• Manage the full documentation lifecycle, including approval, publication, version control, periodic reviews and archiving.
• Maintain documentation standards and a central repository to guarantee accuracy, quality and accessibility.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, communicate updates to affected teams and promote continuous improvement across the organization.
• Assist in creating training materials, awareness content, job aids, FAQs and other supporting resources for new or updated procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Finance, Economics, Banking, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 10‑12+ years of experience in policies and procedures management, governance documentation, banking operations, internal control, compliance, risk management or business process management.
• Strong background in banking or financial services with proven exposure to institutional policy frameworks, regulatory alignment and audit readiness.
• Preferred: MBA, Master’s or executive education in Policy Management, Governance, Operational Excellence, Business Process Management, Risk Management, Compliance or Banking Operations.
• Preferred certifications in policy management, governance, compliance, risk management, Lean Six Sigma, BPM or operational excellence.
