Health, Safety & Environmental Section Head

About the role

The Health, Safety & Environmental Section Head will lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of occupational health, safety and environmental practices across Sadko Plast's manufacturing facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor all occupational health and safety procedures across factory operations.
• Ensure compliance with Egyptian labor law, occupational safety regulations and environmental requirements.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, hazard identification and incident investigations.
• Oversee proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and maintain fire‑fighting systems, emergency equipment and safety devices.
• Prepare and maintain HSE records, permits, reports and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for all chemicals.
• Lead the Occupational Health & Safety Management System (OH&S MS) in accordance with ISO 45001, including internal audits and KPI analysis.
• Develop and manage contractor safety procedures, pre‑qualification and review of HSE plans.
• Maintain an updated legal register and communicate changes in HSE legislation to management.

Required profile

• Proven experience implementing and monitoring occupational health and safety programs in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of Egyptian labor law, occupational safety regulations and environmental legislation.
• Hands‑on experience with ISO 45001 implementation and compliance.
• Ability to conduct risk assessments, incident root‑cause analysis and develop corrective actions.
• Experience managing contractor safety and permit‑to‑work systems.
