Heavy Equipment Maintenance Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our technical team, focusing on diesel‑powered heavy equipment and Airport Ground Support Equipment (GSE). The role involves on‑site service, troubleshooting, and ensuring high equipment availability across Cairo and airport locations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on GSE and other mobile diesel equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and diesel engine faults.
• Conduct on‑site inspections, testing, and after‑sales technical support at customer locations.
• Prepare detailed maintenance reports, service records, and technical documentation.
• Ensure all work follows company safety procedures and quality standards.
• Travel to customer sites, with up to 60% of work performed in the field.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 5–8 years of hands‑on maintenance experience with diesel‑powered heavy equipment, GSE, trucks, construction machinery, forklifts, or similar mobile assets.
• Strong troubleshooting and fault‑diagnosis abilities across multiple systems.
• Willingness to work in the field and travel as needed.
• Residence in or near New Cairo or the 5th Settlement preferred.
