Help Desk Technician (Level 1)

About the role

The Help Desk Technician provides first‑line technical support for end users and office infrastructure. Working on‑site in 6th of October City, you will ensure devices and network services remain operational for daily business activities.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve basic issues on desktops, laptops, printers, mobile phones and other peripherals across Windows, macOS and Linux platforms.
• Provision, de‑provision and replace corporate devices following established processes.
• Assist end users with day‑to‑day IT problems and coordinate escalations with Level 2 teams.
• Perform on‑site troubleshooting, installation and maintenance of office IT services such as printing, connectivity, voice, and basic network equipment (switches, routers, access points).
• Support smart office technologies including sensors, smart metering, digital signage and AV equipment.
• Manage hardware assets: receive, label, image, inventory and dispose of devices according to policy.
• Maintain accurate incident records and collaborate with vendors or third‑party providers for repairs.

Required profile

• Bilingual in Egyptian Arabic and English.
• Available to work five days per week on‑site.
• Entry‑level (Level 1) help‑desk experience or relevant technical training.
• Ability to follow documented procedures and work with remote support teams.
