Hotel Cleanliness Expert - Laundry

About the role

We are looking for a Hotel Cleanliness Expert – Laundry to join our team at a premier hotel in Cairo. The role ensures all linens and garments are washed, dried, and presented to the highest standards of hygiene and appearance.

Key responsibilities

• Operate washing, dry‑cleaning and drying machines, add appropriate chemicals and clean lint traps after each load.
• Inspect items for stains or damage and decide on repair, spot‑treatment, rewash or discard.
• Set dryer times and temperatures according to fabric type and monitor the process.
• Remove debris from dryer screens, filters and drain traps.
• Fold cleaned articles by hand or using folding machines and place them in clean linen carts.
• Maintain accurate records of all items processed.
• Follow all safety, security and company policies, report incidents and complete required training.
• Support team goals, uphold professional appearance and protect confidential information.

Required profile

• No formal education or prior experience required.
• Ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods and lift objects up to 25 lb.
• Comfort working in narrow, confined or elevated spaces and on slippery surfaces.
• Commitment to safety, quality standards and teamwork.

Required skills

• Operation of laundry and dry‑cleaning equipment.
• Handling of cleaning chemicals according to safety guidelines.
• Basic record‑keeping of processed items.
