Hotel Electrician – Maintenance & Guest Services

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Electrician to join our hotel’s engineering team on Al Pasha Coast, Sharm El Sheikh. The role involves responding to guest repair requests, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring all electrical and related systems operate safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to guest repair requests and resolve maintenance issues promptly.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen equipment, and mechanical‑room machinery, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Visually inspect tools, equipment and machines; carry necessary equipment such as tools and radios.
• Identify, locate and operate shut‑off valves for equipment and building utilities.
• Maintain maintenance inventory, requisition parts and supplies as needed.
• Communicate daily activities and problems to other shifts using approved procedures.
• Execute surface preparation, painting, minor drywall and wood‑trim repairs, and clean work areas thoroughly.
• Test, troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on electrical components, plumbing fixtures, HVAC filters, lighting, TV programming and other guestroom items.
• Use Lockout/Tagout system before any maintenance work.
• Perform interior and exterior landscaping repairs and maintain sprinkler systems.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of air‑conditioning, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic systems and controls, carpentry, kitchen equipment, vehicles and energy‑conservation practices.
• Ability to follow company safety, security and environmental policies.
• Physical capability to lift, carry, push or pull objects up to 50 lb and heavier items with assistance.
• Professional appearance, confidentiality and respect for company assets.
• Clear and professional communication skills.
