Housekeeping Attendant

About the role

We are looking for a diligent Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at Rixos Premium Seagate, a luxury resort on the Red Sea. The role involves maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest comfort throughout the hotel.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and prepare guest rooms according to established standards, including making beds, replenishing amenities, and ensuring all furnishings are tidy.
• Handle room keys, sign in/out, and report any discrepancies promptly.
• Dust and maintain public areas such as the lobby, corridors, and service lifts.
• Collect used plates, glasses, and utensils from rooms and place them in designated areas.
• Respond quickly to guest requests for extra bedding, towels, pillows, or other items.
• Complete room status, textile, and amenities reports accurately and submit them to the housekeeping office.
• Report maintenance issues, repairs, and any safety concerns to the Housekeeping Office and floor supervisors.
• Manage lost‑and‑found items, ensuring they are handed over to the appropriate department.
• Maintain cleanliness of floor offices, amenities storage, and equipment, and ensure all linen is properly ironed or sent to laundry.
• Vacuum and mop guest staircases, corridors, and service areas at the start and end of each shift.
• Participate in mandatory training sessions and adhere to hotel security and emergency response procedures.
