Housekeeping Director – New Administrative Capital, Cairo

About the role

The Housekeeping Director oversees all housekeeping operations for the property, ensuring guest rooms, public areas, and employee zones are clean, well‑maintained, and meet brand standards. The role combines operational management, budgeting, and staff development to drive guest satisfaction and financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily housekeeping activities, including room cleaning assignments, public‑area upkeep, and inventory control.
• Develop and monitor departmental budgets, ensuring cost‑effective use of supplies, labor, and equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public spaces, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Lead recruitment, scheduling, training, and performance management of housekeeping staff.
• Maintain compliance with all housekeeping policies, standards, and safety procedures.
• Communicate operational priorities and performance metrics to the team.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 3 years of housekeeping experience, **or** a 2‑year degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field with the same experience.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and achieve financial targets.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to motivate and develop staff.
