HR Generalist – Food & Beverage Experience Required

About the role

The HR Generalist will support all human‑resources activities across the company’s restaurant network and support functions. Reporting to the HR department, you will focus on recruitment, employee relations, compensation & benefits, and HR operations for a fast‑paced, multi‑site Food & Beverage operation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment for restaurant and head‑office positions, coordinating with Operations and Restaurant Managers to identify staffing needs.
• Source, screen, interview and shortlist candidates for operational and supervisory roles, ensuring timely vacancy filling.
• Oversee onboarding, orientation and probation follow‑up processes.
• Act as the primary HR contact for restaurant staff and managers, handling disciplinary investigations, grievances, absenteeism and other employee‑relations matters.
• Conduct regular branch visits to address employee concerns, monitor turnover, retention and engagement.
• Support performance‑management processes, KPI reviews, employee‑engagement initiatives and succession planning.
• Maintain accurate employee records, HR systems and documentation for hiring, transfers, promotions and terminations.
• Assist payroll preparation by providing accurate attendance, leave and personnel data.
• Administer employee benefits (medical, life, transportation, meal allowances) and support annual salary reviews and merit increases.
• Participate in compensation benchmarking, market salary surveys and preparation of manpower cost reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of HR experience, preferably within the Food & Beverage or restaurant sector.
• Proven track record in recruitment, employee relations, compensation & benefits and HR operations.
• Strong knowledge of Egyptian labor law and company HR policies.
• Experience supporting a large blue‑collar workforce across multiple sites.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
