HR Generalist

About the role

Sika, a global leader in specialty chemicals, is seeking an HR Generalist to support its worldwide workforce. The role will partner with managers and employees to deliver end‑to‑end HR services, ensuring compliance and fostering a positive workplace culture.

Key responsibilities

• Recruitment & Staffing: manage the full recruitment lifecycle, develop job postings, screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and execute onboarding and orientation programs.
• Employee Relations: address grievances, mediate workplace disputes, administer disciplinary actions, and promote a professional culture aligned with company values.
• HR Administration: maintain confidential employee records and HR databases, prepare reports for management, and safeguard sensitive data.
• Compensation & Benefits: coordinate payroll, ensure accurate compensation processing, administer benefits programs, and advise employees on eligibility.
• Compliance & Policies: ensure adherence to labor laws and internal policies, develop and disseminate HR procedures, and support audits and regulatory reporting.
• Performance Management: oversee performance review cycles, guide managers in setting objectives, and identify training needs.
• Training & Development: design and implement learning programs that align with organizational goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience as an HR Generalist or in a comparable role.
• Strong knowledge of labor legislation and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Highly organized with a focus on data integrity and confidentiality.
