Human Resources Manager

About the role

Maa-Althahab, a leading fragrance brand in the Middle East and Africa, is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager for its Egypt office. The role will lead the local HR function, align it with the Group’s strategy, and act as the primary liaison between management and employees.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that support the overall company strategy in Egypt.
• Collaborate with the Group HR Manager to roll out corporate HR policies, annual plans, and initiatives.
• Serve as the focal point for employee relations, handling demands, grievances, and other issues.
• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment and selection processes for the Egypt office.
• Drive talent development, engagement, motivation, and retention.
• Oversee a performance appraisal system that promotes high performance.
• Maintain compensation and benefits processes and ensure compliance with Egyptian labour law.
• Identify training needs, implement training programs, and monitor their effectiveness.
• Create and update job descriptions, HR handbook, policies, and procedures.
• Control employee exit processes and maintain accurate HR records and reports.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in a similar HR managerial position.
• Very good English language skills.
• Independent decision‑maker capable of delivering results with minimal supervision.
• People‑oriented, results‑driven, and knowledgeable of Egyptian labour law.
