ICT/Coding Teacher

About the role

Egypt Education Platform is recruiting an ICT/Coding Teacher to join the team at Westview International School in 6th of October City. The school is looking for a passionate educator who can inspire and engage students in information and communication technology and coding.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver comprehensive ICT and coding lessons across grade levels, aligned with the curriculum.
• Use innovative teaching methods and technologies to create an interactive learning environment.
• Assess student progress through regular feedback, assignments and practical coding projects.
• Encourage creativity and problem solving through hands-on coding exercises and collaborative projects.
• Keep up with developments in technology and coding education and integrate new concepts and tools.
• Guide students in understanding computer science principles, coding languages and software development.
• Foster an inclusive classroom atmosphere and engage parents and the school community.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education or a related field.
• Teaching qualification or certification preferred.
• Experience teaching ICT and coding, preferably in an international school setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles and abilities.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of programming languages and ICT tools.
• Passion for technology and education.
