Identity and Access Management Associate

About the role

PwC's cybersecurity practice protects organizations from cyber threats by identifying vulnerabilities and building secure systems. As an Identity and Access Management (IAM) Associate, you will help confirm secure and efficient access to systems and data for employees and clients, designing and implementing strategies to protect sensitive information and manage user identities. The role is based in Cairo.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and manage Entra ID tenants and configure their security settings in line with internal policies
• Implement and manage Privileged Identity Management (PIM) for privileged access to critical systems
• Configure and enforce conditional access policies
• Manage security groups, dynamic groups and role-based access control (RBAC)
• Work with security and IT teams to integrate IAM solutions across systems
• Audit IAM processes and configurations regularly, and provide support and troubleshooting for IAM systems
• Maintain IAM documentation and stay current with IAM developments and Entra ID features
• Use GitHub, Terraform and Azure Pipelines to automate IAM workflows and integrate with CI/CD pipelines

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of hands-on experience setting up and managing Entra ID tenants or similar IAM platforms
• Experience with IAM platforms such as SailPoint, CyberArk, ForgeRock or Okta is a plus
• Experience with DevOps tools and cloud platforms is a plus
• Certifications such as Azure Security Engineer Associate or Azure Identity and Access Administrator Associate are highly preferred

• Entra ID tenant setup, security configurations, MFA and identity protection policies
• Privileged Identity Management (PIM) and conditional access
• Group management and RBAC in Entra ID
• DevOps tools: GitHub, Terraform, Azure Pipelines
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) is a plus
