Import / Export Associate Analyst

About the role

The Import / Export Associate Analyst will act as the primary liaison for a portfolio of customers, coordinating forecasts, orders and product lifecycle activities. The role ensures seamless end‑to‑end order processing, from order capture through shipment, while maintaining compliance with export regulations and internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Enter customer orders and forecasts into the Customer Portal and SAP, ensuring data accuracy.
• Review forecasts, flag variances and manage escalations.
• Validate orders, acknowledge receipt, and handle exception management.
• Coordinate end‑to‑end order execution, including freight booking, shipment tracking and delivery confirmation.
• Prepare and manage all export documentation, liaising with chambers of commerce, embassies, banks and couriers.
• Maintain accurate freight cost records and update systems with non‑standard charges.
• Provide customers with status updates, delivery information and issue resolution.
• Support CRM processes, product discontinuations and system updates.
• Identify process inefficiencies and contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Assist with the rollout of new digital tools and portal adoption.

Required profile

• 3rd‑level education in Supply Chain, Business or a related field (desirable).
• Proven experience in a fast‑paced supply‑chain environment with customer‑facing responsibilities.
• Strong analytical abilities and quick decision‑making skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work across cross‑functional teams and multiple nationalities.
• Health & Safety compliance awareness.
