Import Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an Import Specialist to oversee the end‑to‑end import process, ensuring smooth movement of goods from purchase order to final delivery. The role requires close collaboration with overseas suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to guarantee compliance and timely shipments.

Key responsibilities

• Manage import operations from purchase order issuance to delivery.
• Coordinate with overseas suppliers and freight forwarders to schedule shipments.
• Prepare, review, and submit shipping and customs documentation.
• Ensure all import activities comply with local and international regulations.
• Track shipments, monitor status, and resolve any logistics issues that arise.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands‑on import experience.
• Strong knowledge of customs clearance procedures.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Proficient command of English.
• Experience with ERP systems is preferred.
